Nice to meet you

I'm Courtney. Toad & Thimble started at my kitchen table, between everyday life, a little bit of chaos, and the quiet moments I get as a mom of 3.

I’m an Appalachian artist drawn to the kind of strange that doesn’t feel out of place, just a little harder to explain. The woods, old stories, and the feeling of something familiar lingering just beneath the surface all find their way into what I make.

Some pieces I will post are fully handmade. Others are designed by me and made to travel a little further. Either way, everything starts the same way... with an idea, a sketch, and a lot of time.

    I take pride in being from Eastern Kentucky and the stories that come with it. I make art from what sticks with me, like cryptids, books, and feelings I can’t shake. Just making things that feel like they belong somewhere outside my head.

Orders & Shipping

Q: How are your items made?

A: Some items are handmade by me and shipped from home, while others are made to order through a trusted production partner and shipped separately.

Q: Will my order arrive in one package?

A: Not always. If your order includes both handmade and made-to-order items, they may ship separately and arrive at different times.

Q: How long does shipping take?

  • Handmade items: typically ship within 3–5 business days
  • Made-to-order items: usually ship within 5–10 business days

A: Some items may return, but many are small batch or limited releases.

Q: Do you take custom orders?

A: Occasionally! Feel free to reach out, but availability will vary.

A: Because many items are made to order, I’m unable to accept general returns. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out, and I’ll help make it right.

Q: What if something arrives damaged?
